WELCOME TO YALHAM HAYES, SOMERSET
Hi, I’m Aizel
Aizel was born and raised in Manila Philippines. She studied in the College of Arts & Sciences in the University of the Philippines Manila and finished a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
Falling in love with Horticulture first before recognising her talents in flower show exhibitions and floral design, her works are inspired by nature and its ever changing seasons, beauty and abundance.
She is part of The Flowers From the Farm (FFTF) association and practices regenerative flower growing in her one acre of flower field. She does not use plastic floral foam in her floral decorations. Being part of the FFTF community means Aizel has access to a variety of flowers - some are hard-to-find, others beautiful seasonal flowers, and an abundance of British grown flowers including those soulful characters! Others vary in levels of maturity, scent and dance which make such a difference in your overall flower experience!
Aizel has appeared in The Telegraph newspaper with FFTF in 2020. Her cutting garden featured in Gardener’s World on TV in 2023, and Aizel won GOLD medals at flower show exhibitions in Taunton in 2025. She has been published in Woman & Home magazine in April 2026, and is part of the Core Build Team of FFTF at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this month.
Gold at Taunton Flower Show 2025
Aizel Finch was awarded another Gold Medal for her Farewell Flowers display at Taunton Flower Show 2025. This has to be the first time sympathy flowers had been on display at the Floral Marquee of the oldest Flower Show in the UK.
In 2024, Aizel was also awarded gold for her exhibition of British grown cut flowers in a meadow display, as well as the Bellman Memorial Cup for horticulture excellence at Taunton Flower Show.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026
19 - 23 May 2026
Flowers From the Farm won Silver Gilt at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May.
This a huge opportunity for us as growers and business people to demonstrate the value of cut flowers to both the economy and to the ecology of the British Isles.”
— Georgie Newbery, External Chair
Aizel recently celebrated featuring in the Woman & Home magazine (April 2026 edition) and shares her thoughts:
“There are many great things about the article. All the colours, sun, flowers - it captures a moment of perfection, of a joyous time when everything seemed to come together. Last year was triumphant, but I didn’t really have time to cherish what was happening. It was intensely busy and it was one big blur of doing one thing after another.
To Chris Morley and the editors at Woman & Home, thank you for celebrating women this way. I am grateful to you all for taking notice, and for recording and sharing this moment in time - particularly in this mad world of starting a running a business!
I think I’ve found myself now and the best thing is, I feel like I’m just getting started!”
